Love In Temple

₹799 ₹2,499

Love In Temple paints a couple seen from behind, resting together on a riverside ghat at sunset, with domed pavilions and a distant temple spire across the water. The sky is amber and rose, and the river carries it all back in soft reflections. It is a warm, romantic piece for anniversaries, weddings and anyone who loves golden-hour India.

What you'll paint

She wears a saffron sari with white flowers in her hair, her head resting on the shoulder of a man in a cream kurta. The carved pavilions on the right are painted in soft brown and ochre, fading into haze, while the river breaks the sunset into shimmering, close-toned patches. The colours sit near each other in tone, so the mood is gentle and the edges are soft. Treat it as a medium painting: no harsh contrast to fight with, just warm colours to ease into over an unhurried evening, with the white flowers in her hair as a bright finishing touch.
