Doggo Naps paints a corgi dozing in a patch of sunlight, eyes shut, a faint smile on its face and a few pink blossoms by its paws. Golden light spills across the top of the canvas through the leaves. It is a soft, sleepy piece for dog lovers, and for anyone who needs a picture of pure contentment.

Jumbo kits arrive stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang. Classic kits are rolled canvas — paint them flat, then frame however you like.

What you'll paint

Warm cream, caramel and white fur fills most of the canvas, with green leaves gathered in the lower corners and pink flowers adding small accents of colour. Nothing here is fussy: the shapes are large and the shading is gentle, so you can keep your strokes loose and let the sunlit glow build up as you go. It is one of the easier kits in the range, a kind place to start if this is your first, and a restful one if you have painted many. Save the sleeping face for last, because it is the part that makes you smile.
