Har Har Ganga paints the evening aarti on the river bank: a row of priests in saffron robes lift flaming lamps while devotees gather on the steps and the water glows beyond. Small diyas float on the river and dark hills close in behind. It is a respectful, atmospheric scene for anyone who has stood by the ghats at dusk.

Framed or rolled?

Jumbo kits arrive stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang. Classic kits are rolled canvas — paint them flat, then frame however you like.

What you'll paint

Deep red and orange robes catch the light of the fire, a tall brass lamp stands at the centre of the platform, and smoke curls into a dusky sky above the hills. The contrast is dramatic, with bright flame colours set against cool blue shadow, and the figures are small but clearly drawn. Expect a medium painting with a few detailed spots, such as the lamps, the tiered brass stand and the crowd on the steps. The glow of the finished scene is the reward, so keep the flames and the lamplight for the end.
